This arched cast was created using a home grown hyacinth whose impression has been preserved with the bulbs and roots of the plant. The imprint of the flowers and foliage has been taken in grey clay which has left a lovely coloured tint on the surface of the plaster.
Every Imprint cast is made by hand using a unique casting technique to capture the imprint of delicate botanical forms.
